Basic Information

Loyola Jesuit College (LJC) is part of the worldwide family of Jesuit schools run by the Society of Jesus in Abuja, Nigeria. The College shares the vision and philosophy of the Jesuit tradition, derived from the teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola, while adapting these principles to the Nigerian context.
The mission of Loyola Jesuit College is to provide intellectual, moral and religious formation for girls and boys of all religious faiths, tribes and socio-economic backgrounds, preparing them to become leaders in the service of God and others. The school emphasizes academic excellence, character development, compassion, justice, social responsibility and personal growth.
Loyola Jesuit College is a co-educational full-boarding secondary school. Established in 1996, the College currently serves over 600 students from JSS 1 to SSS 3. It is located on a 28.5-hectare campus in Gidan Mangoro, Abuja, providing a focused learning environment with academic, sporting and recreational facilities.
The College is guided by the Jesuit educational tradition and is committed to developing students intellectually, morally, spiritually, socially and physically, with the goal of forming young people who are competent, compassionate and committed to service.
